When I visited the Pali Lookout in Nuuanu Valley, I saw that this was the same site that inspired Herb Kane's "The Battle of Nuuanu Pali", depicting the great King Kamehameha's final step in uniting the Hawaiian nation over 200 years ago.  I found a rock, that looks like its made of lava that have been there for thousands of years.  As the years passed by, the Hawaiian nation was annexed by the United States and while I grew up here, I could feel the cries of the Hawaiian people over what had been lost.  Revised twice in 2023 to enhance the atmospheric perspective in the background.  Sold with hand-made frame.
