What is your return policy?
If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, please return the product back to me and I will issue a refund for the value of the painting or drawing only. You will be liable for all the shipping fees, delivery and return. I am selling my artwork at a minimun price, so if I have to also pay for the shipping expenses out of pocket, it will have an negative impact on my ability to offer keep this website open for sale.
Do you offer gift cards?
Not at this time. My inventory of drawings and paintings are limited.
Why do you sell artwork without the motivation for fame and weath?
I really want to find a home for artwork to someone who wants it. My paintings and drawings were created with thought and the only way I can continue painting is by finding a home for them. "What is the sound of one hand clapping?" It can only be heard if there is a "listener" ...the new owner will give it a new life. Too much in life is disposable, planned obsolence. I cannot continue piling up paintings, when no one is looking at it somewhere.
If so why don't you simply give it away?
I've given away many of my drawings and paintings to people and unfortunately, some were not necessarity wanted. Receiving a "free" painting literally means that it may have no inherent value for most people. It will therefore be thought of as without value and may be treated like trash. That is not where I want these paintings to go.
Commissions?
While I prefer to work from inpiration, I will create a painting based upon your request if I find it interesting to do. Just send me a message of what you had in mind, including its size, description of what you want and a photo that I can work with if its a portrait, landscape or the "style" that would be appropriate for it. I reserve the right to refuse or alter the photographic imagey in Photoshop or while I am working. I normally do not simply "copy' a photograph but edit it extensively for expressive purposes.
