"The Secret Life of Trees" is an original, surrealistic oil painting by a Hawaiian artist who loves going to botanical gardens and their lush groves of trees. I always wondered how they grow so high, and I noticed that they have many similarities to us. Trees grow from a tiny seed buried in fertile soil, nourished by elements and water. We are from our parents, who raised us. This is like the roots of a tree. The trunk is like an extension of our family line. We have limbs, so we walk around freely. I began to imagine how the branches on the top of trees envy our mobility. There are so many things about nature that we take for granted.
